Tangent Online reviewer Dario Ciriello likes a lot of the stories in the April/May Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine, and his favorite is my novelette, "Something Real," which he says is "an excellent Alternate History novelette and—to my mind—the strongest piece in this issue."
The story follows World War II spy (and ex-major league baseball player) Moe Berg into neutral Switzerland where he has to decide whether or not he should assassinate German physicist Werner Heisenberg to stop the Nazis from building an atom bomb.
Ciriello closes his review by saying the piece is "A clever and well-crafted story that will delight AH fans, this one also keeps the reader guessing as to which future will ‘come to pass’ (if the term even applies to an Everett-Wheeler cosmology). Strongly recommended."
Well, heck, I strongly recommend it, too, then <g>....
