My novelette "Something Real" is in the April/May 2012 issue of Asimov's Science Fiction magazine and the early reviews are really encouraging.
Locus magazine's Lois Tilton in her online review of the issue calls "Something Real" the story she likes best in the issue and makes it her only Recommended read for the issue. "AH fans and WWII buffs are going to love this one for the details, baseball fans for Moe Berg, and for everyone, there’s a can’t-miss Very Neat Idea at the end," is how she closes the very nice review.
SFRevu's Sam Tomaino says it's a "Hugo worthy story," and closes his review by saying "Something Real "was a great story and one that I will put on my Hugo short list for next year."
And Terry Weyna of FantasyLiterature.com says it's her favorite in the issue and the story is "as fascinating from a historical perspective as from a fictional perspective. "
We'll see if the rest of the field's reviewers are as kind as these three stalwarts. It's nice to have the first three major reviews be so positive. And to have the words "Hugo short list" in a review is especially nice <g>...
I rather liked it, the characters were well drawn, and the conclusion had a good twist. Will there be more in that alternative universe?

Yes, Jimerelo, there will be more. I have in mind doing a series of Moe Berg stories in Asimov's and elsewhere and, perhaps, working on a novel version. Right now, I'm working on story #2.
